what did u do to your bike mate?

again wear and tear!

hydralic brakes with a lean and gears gone to pot!

and as the bike is a £1200 rear bike I aint gonna mess!

my last bike cost me about 100 quid i think.. haha

I recently found out that 90% of ppl with my condition suffer from depression!

I do have low periods but dont think im that bad yet!
I have one very good friend i can always turn to!

I have had a few days where if it was not for them I'd have given up and stayed in bed!
but im not so bad lately!

u tell those statistics where to shove it haha

well now this "bad patch" continues!

at present I have lost all control of my ankles and all but my big toes!
my lower legs are pretty much screwed!

my knees and thighs are strong from being on the bike!

but also my thumbs are now useless
I have ZERO motor function in them now!

also my wrists are slowly loosing mobility
its not looking good!
lets just hope it slows/stops soon!

try to meet friends over xmas for few drinks may make me feel better!!!!

is it very difficult too do certain things elf ?

its difficult to use brakes on push bike for a start!
and car not ready til feb at earliest

but anything that needs hand strength!
at work i have to move PCs around
may have to stop work I dont want too!

it gets me down at times!

its life and i was born with it...
but took until 15 to get RIGHT diagnosise!

its is progressive so gets worse with time!

i have seen cases where they end up in a wheelchair unable to do ANYTHING!
like a cabbage!
so outlook is not so good!

but hey i already proved them wrong for 6 years!

i got 4 days to rest before I gotta get back on the bike for work.....

Well it contiues to be bad

I am however still on the bike at the moment

but getting some pains in hands at times on the bike
but im still going!
car not ready til middle of year now

but hey, on the 23rd of Feb im 26 and NOT in a wheel chair!
so still good!

I am finding it harder on the bike as using lower gears than i used to so legs are being effected

so john with yooor condition did the doc exspect you too be in a wheel chair at what age ?

they said at 20 be in a chair peaches

i feel terrible about all this

its all good.
been coping with it since birth so used to it by now.

makes things hard but i have learnt to cope and adapt.

thing is i have adapted so well that i can get disablity money coz i have learnt to adapt to do things!

but I hate to rely on others!
I am as strong willed as the next person, or even stronger!

Well now i know im getting bad!

I am loosing dexterity in hands!
im now using a shoe horn to get shoes on, and doing the laces is getting very hard!

may have to resort to velcro shoes soon
but on plus side...... im still riding the bike!

but hey i live it each day as it comes!

im still here and still walking and riding a bike, so i think each day is a lucky day!

doo you take any meds for your condition if so what ?

none have any effect any more kellz!

stuff i was on is no good but left a lasting effect which is not a bad thing!
