what has been one of the scariest moments for you?

Mine was in my clio while driving in the pitch black of night....

It had been raining lots (as it does in Cornwall), and I was taking my m8 home with my G/F in the car too...
I was driving in a particularly dark and bendy bit of the bypass....

when all of a sudden this huge wall of water was thrown up from the left side of the car and up over the bonnet as I had just hit a huge puddle I did not see in the dark.
scared the hell out of my then G/F, me too...
but that was not the worst bit!

the car speedometer jumped from 40 to 90 MPH!
I was AQUAPLAINING!

The poor clio started to spin!
at this point I was really starting to get scared!
40MPH in a spin!

I ended up in the wrong lane, facing the wrong way....
with a aticulated truck coming towards me!

THAT IS WAY TOO SCARY TO REPEAT!

the truck manged to stop by the way and I managed to restart the clio with the truck drivers help!

OOO when i found a spider in mi bed very scary moment

should of asked me round to scoot it out

heh.. i have to agree with peaches.. finding a spider in your bed is rather scary.. especially when u hear it drop on the pillow next to your head *shudders*

however i think the scariest moment for me was when the company car's engine died on me at 90 mph on the m25 when i was in the outside lane...
umm.. help!!
